Marxio Timer Description

Program executes action specified by user (turn off, restart computer, hibernate, suspend, logout user, lock desktop, display text, play sound, run other application). It's run at time specified or when idle time elapses. It can also repeat actions after n minutes or start countdown seconds to execute action. Marxio Timer can display countdown window, can be minimized to icon on taskbar or hidden from user eyes completely. Started actions can be secured with password - no terminate possible if user doesn't know the right password. Created actions can be saved for further use or a shortcut can be put on desktop to speed up access to created actions. This version added time selection box and selected actions can be now "Repeated every day".

1.8.1 is the best so far

Just installed version 1.8.1 and it's amazing this application really has no limitations - whenever a new version is released, I always see additiotal buttons, check boxed, icons...I guess those changes are suggestions from users (as stated on its website) but that only tells us this tool os from people for people. Brilliant soft.

I used Marxio Timer for a short time, even version 1.1 as it EXACTLY fits my needs and donated $10 as it it not freeware bo donation ware and authors say to "support further development" - I searched for such application veeeeeery long and wouldn't like it go forgotten. Thank you soft-files for ppublishing it.

This application is awesome. Great set of actions to select and I can finally select -exactly- when action executes, whether repeats or not, whether to finish application after execute or not. Donationware with no restrictions and portable version, might make this application already a first league player on the internet. Respect for author, for his engagement in so called marxio-tools project.

I've just downloaded version 1.4 of Marxio Timer and it make me feel better - I thrown away 4 applications I used and use Marxio Timer now. Low download speed, but finally downloaded it. Portable version is awesome. It also works with Windows 7 (beta of course). It offers nothing else than other applications, but hey, I use one now, insted of 4 ! Another plus for this app is its interface - I am not going to dig in manual, help, faw, just to use one action, and frankly, I do not think Marxio Timer even need
